To live up to our idea that youth can be the changemakers, we are proposing to start a Fellowship Programme named “Yuva Sadan: Fellowship Programme”. The candidates selected for the program will be called Yuva Fellows.

WHAT IS YUVA SADAN FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM?

Yuva Sadan Fellowship programme will be a One Year Full Time Paid fellowship, where the fellows will be selected from all over Jharkhand through open online application process. Through this fellowship we want our fellows to gain real life experiences in the field of public policy. This fellowship offers a short-term professional opportunity, where the fellows will be engaged to work directly under the Ministers/MLAs of Jharkhand and subsequently coordinate with the local district administration. The fellows will be allotted work directly by his/her MLA or his office. They may be asked to conduct research about a particular topic, or start a new community outreach program or initiative, or prepare briefs and reports, etc. At the starting of the fellowship we propose to have a minimum of 12 fellows, who will be mostly youth in between 21-28 years of age.

AIM OF THE PROGRAM 

Through this fellowship we aim to create a talent pool of dynamic and energetic youth leaders who can contribute in state building. Since our focus now is only on Jharkhand, we want youth of Jharkhand to participate in large numbers. To have sufficient number of Jharkhand’s youth in fellowship we plan to offer 5 fellowships to Participants of Yuva Sadan, not necessarily the winners, but anyone who is interested may apply and 5 will be selected.
