Legal Awareness Camp
Yuva Sadan organised its first Legal Aid Camp on 04th of October, 2021 at Audrey House, Ranchi. The Legal Aid Camp was organised in collaboration with Mission Blue Foundation, Jharkhand State Legal Services Authority (JHALSA), and in association with Ministry of Art, Culture, Tourism, Sports and Youth Affairs, Government of Jharkhand, and Ranchi Smart City Corporation Limited, Urban Development & Housing Department, Government of Jharkhand. The camp witnessed more than 150 participants from the field of law, law students, and interested youth.
The program witnessed participation from the following legal luminaries:
- Shri Rajeeva Sharma, Senior Advocate, Jharkhand High Court.
- Shri Pradeep Kumar, Retired ADJ cum Chairman, Permanent Lok Adalat, Ranchi.
- Kamla Kumari, ADJ cum DLSA Secretary.
TOPIC OF DISCUSSION
The agenda for discussion was the Preamble to Indian Constitution, Constitutional Laws and, Child Labour Laws.

Yuva Sadan is doing Legal Aid activity and organizes Legal Awareness Camps on regular intervals across Jharkhand. Through our camps we aim to empower and create awareness among the women and people living in the rural and tribal areas of Jharkhand. We have developed a strategy to create awareness and disseminate information regarding various Laws for prevention of crime and simultaneously provide details of various schemes and programmes of the Government and to guide the citizens/women on how to access them. The camps are done keeping in mind the different needs of the rural and tribal masses through the various tools used for communication.
We also provide Legal Aid to the needy and poor people. Our team comprises of lawyers, advocates and young law students who prepare and file cases, appear in courts and tribunals, make RTI Applications, and get many things done like updating ration card details, apply for old age and widow (vidhwa) pension etc. through use of proper channels and resources.
We have started a mass Legal Awareness and Outreach Program for Women and Tribals in Rural Areas of Jharkhand. Under this program we will discuss the Constitution of India, understand the Promises of Preamble and spread awareness on the making of an Indian Citizen. We will also touch on topics relating to Witch Craft, Trafficking, Dowry, Domestic Violence, Sexual Violence, POCSO Act. The program was inaugurated on 24th December 2022 at Chamber Bhawan Ranchi by Shri Shikhar Ranjan, Secretary General, ISIL, New Delhi; Shri Ajit Kumar, Senior Advocate and Ex- Advocate General of Jharkhand; Shri Rajeeva Sharma, Senior Advocate, JHC, Shri Kishore Mantri, President, FJCCI, Shri U P Sah, GM BSNL, Dr Subir Kumar, Associate Professor, NUSRL, Ranchi and others.
